Port Sudan, August 6, 2024

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, today issued a constitutional decree appointing Mr. Abdullah Yahya Ahmed Hussein as a member of the Sovereignty Council, representing the Sudan Liberation Forces Assembly.

His Excellency directed the General Secretariat of the Sovereignty Council and the relevant state authorities to implement the decree.

This constitutional decree comes as part of the commitment to implement the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan.
