The Government of the Republic of Sudan strongly condemns the statements made by the Israeli Prime Minister on September 2nd, in which he unjustly involved Egypt in an attempt to evade reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and to deflect attention from his government’s ongoing violations against the Palestinian people and the completion of the hostage exchange process.
Sudan reaffirms its full solidarity with the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt and its support for Egypt’s historic role in achieving a just peace in Palestine. Sudan rejects any attempt to undermine this role to justify aggressive policies that lead to further tension and escalation in the region, hindering sincere efforts to bring about peace.
