The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ali Yusuf Ahmed Al-Sharif, discussed with the Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, Mr. Zhang Xianghua, ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields. H.E The Minister emphasized the importance of the historical friendship between the two countries , built on solid foundations of mutual respect and non infringement on sovereignty. He commended the level of coordination between the two countries in international fora and appreciated China’s supportive stances for the Sudan.
H. E. The Minister also expressed his aspiration for a greater role for China in the upcoming phase, particularly in reconstruction and development efforts.

The Charge d’Affaires of China congratulated the Minister on his appointment, expressing confidence that relations between the two countries will advance to higher levels of cooperation under his leadership for Sudanese diplomacy. He also reiterated China’s support for the stability and territorial integrity of the Sudan.
